Teachers

Ananda
Ananda has been teaching yoga since 2008. She believes that anatomical fluency and biomechanical accuracy can meet and merge with fluidity somewhere along the middle.
Ananda teaches intelligent Vinyasa, individualized Yoga Therapy, and experimental Mobility classes that honor diverse forms of movement. Her teaching is informed by her experience with various forms of meditation, modalities of self-inquiry, and studies with teachers who she humbly acknowledges: Vidya Heisel, Jasmine Tarkeshi, Dana Flynn, Jill Miller.
Ananda believes in authenticity, autonomy, and creative expression in teaching, and has taught students of all levels in diverse locales âfrom San Francisco to the Philippines, Madrid to New Orleans, Costa Rica to Berlin, Hong Kong and Brussels.

Robert
Originally from Chicago, Robert unexpectedly embarked on his yoga journey while he was a foreign student studying French literature in Grenoble, France.Â
Robert completed his first 200-hour teacher training course with Andrey Lappa, who helped him get in touch with the deeper sense of history and philosophy in the yogic sciences. He then traveled throughout India and received a diploma in Yoga Therapy at Yoga Vidya Gurul, followed by a mentorship at a Yogic Hospital in Nashik, India, where he learnt to prescribe daily routines of meditation, asanas and lifestyle changes for patients suffering from cancer, heart diseases and diabetes etc.
Robert is also grateful to have studied with Patrick Creelman. Robertâs teaching emphasizes alignment and yoga's effects on the holistic wellnessÂ
